TOP GUN

hello readers around the world i'm the retro game kid a new generation talking about the old, today's subject is top gun a game for the NES that was based off a movie ( or was it a movie based on a game? ) that was a  good idea but a bad game. some reasons why its bad is because one your constantly waiting for enemies and two the special sequences are TOO F****ING HARD!!! and the worst part is its only got three levels i've checked only three f****ing levels. what were they thinking, i mean honestly were they too lazy to even try to make a good game instead of this shitfest of faggot. this game gets 0 STARS out of 5.  : (

nintendo gameboy

hello readers around the world I'm the retro game kid a new generation talking about the old generation today's topic the nintendo gameboy. the Nintendo game boy was Nintendo's answer to segas and many other companies handheld consoles and it wasn't a complete failure with its monochrome display and its difficult  but a deeper look reveals great game play and a feature game installed which is tetris.  but its most memorable thing was its accessories. it had a camera, a printer, a game enhancer called the handy boy it was just impossible to count all of them but this thing is a starter pokemon in the evolution of handheld gaming and it deserves a 4 STARS out of 5 : )

p.s. keep gaming kids.

Super Mario Bros.

hello readers im the retro game kid a new gen. talking about the old gen todays subject super mario bros. we wont just be talking about the original but we'll be talking about the triligy for the nes. lets start with the first, a fun side scrolling game thats a classic and probally owned by any nes or wii owner. its fairly simple gameplay and its challenge level are just a couple of reasons why this was a instant classic. now number 2 on the other hand was fun as well included all the characters ( exept bowser) as playable. but the thing with this was it was a american port of a game called doki doki panikku now im actualy proud they ported with a different name and characters because of wierd objects and items. and mario bros. 3 is a fun sidescroller ( wait, havent i heard this before.) its gameplay was very secretive with the warp zones. this installment as well as 2 had the option to go back which is cool. and as a bonus later nintendo gave us super revamps of the bros in 16 bits and better backrounds and included the japenese realese of mario 2 but kept it a secret as they called it super mario bros. the lost levels. in the end these games brought fame to nintendo which calls for a 5 STARS out of 5 : )

EarthBound / Mother 2

hello readers around the world my name is the retro game kid a new gen. telling bout the old gen. today's subject is about earthbound or as its known in japan mother two. this topic is generally very controversial because while most people think this was when they wanted to give USA a good RPG but others think that we got it because it was a game that was never released. i wont tell you what i think but a thing i do know is that if it was only given to japan its either 2 things really good or really bad. and personally i think we ere just left out because we only got number 2 which means we didn't get the first one which is just STUPID AS HELL!! its not like we haven't had RPG's on the NES we just didn't get good RPG's like mother but there was a emulator release called Earthbound Zero which although never made it to a console release is available to your PC or mac. although we got a good RPG for once, it still failed because of high prices and an unknown company endorsement called ape let alone its ad campaign it stinks but this game gets 5 STARS out of 5 : )

p.s. FUZZY PICKLES!!
